In an industry fraught with a “Same old, same old” mentality, Makofsky applied his creativity and industry know how to re-designing the way the industry looks at envelopes.

What the Company created is based on a simple concept; designing an envelope that uses no more material than is absolutely necessary. Marvin Makofsky, President

Throughout his colorful career, Marvin has identified inefficiencies in business process and created solutions. Since 1972, Marvin has been viewed by his peers as an inspired, driven innovator with sharp business acumen.

Marvin has been featured on CNN Radio, Newsday, and The Warner Channel as well as countless trade journals as a print industry visionary. Marvin has been a speaker at numerous organization meetings and services on the board of the Association of Graphic Communications.

Marvin has been recognized with more then 80 national and international design awards. More recently, BFL&S Magazine awarded Marvin their first lifetime achievement award. In 2005 Marvin was awarded the Document Management Industry Association's Peak Award for Best New Envelope.

Through Marvin's efforts, Conformer Expansion Products have solved challenges for many prestigious non-profit and profit organizations the likes of Standard & Poors, Wall Street Journal, Pfizer, Siemens, Harvard Business School, and Direct Marketing Association.

Marvin holds a BSBA in Business Administration from Babson College in Wellesley, Massachusetts.

Bob Makofsky, General Manager

With 9 years of sales and marketing experience, Bob brings a well tested approach to solution selling. Serving as the Companies General Manager, Bob’s responsibilities cover many facets of the organization including the company’s overall operations and allocation of resources.

Prior to working with Conformer Expansion Products, Bob served as Business Development Manager for eDeploy, a software development firm in Denver, Colorado. Responsible for the Company’s most significant business relationship, Cisco Systems, his work afforded him tremendous experience negotiating the inner workings of numerous $100 million-plus contracts both nationally and abroad. Beyond his relationship management duties, Bob was responsible for the company’s sales collateral, website presence, and industry conferences exhibits.

Bob began honing his solution sales skills working with a manufacturer’s rep company selling highly technical computer mapping hardware and software to large non-technical audiences on a regular basis. Early in his career, Bob was aptly able to identified new, more profitable business opportunities by developing comprehensive product, support and services bundles for targeted vertical markets designed to reduce client risk.

Bob graduated from the University of Denver with a bachelor’s degree in Geography and Business.
